Royall House and Slave Quarters -- Group Tour Information for 2012

General Information

Group defined: A Group is defined as 10 or more people.

We offer Group Tours at the Royall House and Slave Quarters site on weekends and on weekdays. All Tours include our compelling Archaeological Exhibit and are led by our expert Guides; the Archaeological Exhibit is self-guided. Group Tours are available from mid-March to mid-November, 2012.

In order to ensure a quality Group Tour, we limit the size of each individual group to around 15. Due to the size of our historic buildings and rooms, we can generally do 2 simultaneous tours per hour, therefore accommodating about 30-33 people per hour. If your group is larger than 30 people, you will need to allow at least a 2 hour visit to the Royall House and Slave Quarters. If you are pressed for time, please discuss when reserving.

Due to the size of the historic room in which it is displayed, the Archaeological Exhibit will accommodate about 15-20 people at a time. For Group Tours larger than 30 people, we generally split the larger group into units of about 15 people each and stagger time in the Exhibit.
