The Royall House and Slave Quarters site is located at 15 George Street in Medford, Massachusetts, near the intersection with Main Street and next to the Royall Park.

The Royall House and Slave Quarters are open for regular tours on Saturdays and Sundays from May 26, 2012 to November 4, 2012. Tours on the hour at 1, 2, 3, and 4 p.m.

Take exit 32 off 93. Proceed on Route 60 West (Salem Street) to second light (Medford Square). Stay to the left. Bear left to enter Main Street going South. (You will go over the Mystic river and under an overpass. Keep to the right. Bear right at Mobil Station to stay on Main Street (Dunkin' Donuts on your left) and proceed to intersection of Main Street and George Street (blinking light). There will be a park with a brick/iron fence on your right. Make a right on George Street, proceed one half block and park on the right. Detailed map.

We welcome Group Tours as well as Group Visits to our Archaeological Exhibit. All Group Tours include the Archaeological Exhibit. Group Tours and Visits are offered during on weekends and weekdays. All Tours are guided by our expert Guides; the Exhibit is self-guided, but staff is available to answer your questions.
