Today, the Royall House and Slave Quarters’ museum shop carries a selection of fiction and nonfiction books, items reflecting colonial life, and mementos. Handcrafted merchandise includes organic bar soaps, beeswax candles, eighteenth-century toys, and brooches made from pottery shards. Museum souvenirs range from postcards, notecards, and magnets, to Achi, an African game with playing pieces modeled on pottery artifacts discovered on site. Books for children, young adults, and adults address the history of the colonial America, northern slavery, and the Revolutionary War, with a particular emphasis on the Boston area, Massachusetts, and New England.
